Fii Masr on Easter
Happy Easter everyone!
For the second year in a row I'm a Muslim country on Easter. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, but it's always interesting when there is an important holiday that the rest of the world could care less about, like Fourth of July or Memorial Day.
It's been pretty amazing in Egypt so far. Although I haven't actually done all that much. It's pretty much consisted of hanging out with people, smoking shisha, closing down Cairo Jazz Club, and watching "Just Friends," a pretty hilarious movie. Oh and finishing my application for the AIESEC Lebanon MC. Which took forever. It's been great to see everyone. After being away for ten months I didn't realize how muched I missed everyone and Egypt in general. As always, the pollution could use some work, but that's Egypt.
Leave for Dahab at 12am. Mad relaxation to ensue. With one hopeful exception of a phone call from AIESEC International for an interview. That I can handle.
Be back from Dahab on Thursday afternoon, after which the hope is to go to Marsa Matrouh and maybe Siwa. Apparently Marsa Matrouh has some of the best beaches in the world. I'm all for it. Better bring the sunscreen.
