The Wonders of Being a Graduate

Why can't we just have national insurance like Europe? It's so much easier. I dislocated my finger when I studied in Freiburg junior year, and I didn't have to pay a thing. From the minute I graduated I was no longer covered under my dad's company's plan, and now I have to go through all this crap to get this special deal for new graduates. Unfortunately I have to pay for it when I don't need it. I only need it for a few weeks, and then this summer, but in between I'll be in Egypt with the State Depts wonderful insurance thing. But of course in the insurance companes goal of screwing people over, you can't get it off and on, it has to be continuous or it doesn't work. Ugh. So now I have to pull a fast one when I call the insurance company to see if a test is covered. Great. And here endeth the rant...
